Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I defer to those who are more sentimental.

We'll get into a circle of vicious deferral. They deferred first. Let's combine. t /tyrant

Or vote. t /democrat

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

If we do combine, I like that the last individual threads were named "Grr Arrgh" and "Is that it? Am I done?".

Art Crawl!!!

Vote!

I mean -- when you're talking combine -- are we talking closing the current Angel thread or folding Buffy discussion into the current Angel thread?

(That is essentially what has happened over at WX.)

brillig

I'm for keeping them separate, but I'm not sure why. But I always liked Angel more than Buffy, myself. And that sound so third grade.

Up with the sun

Or vote.

ita said the v-word!

I do think voting on this might make sense, since it's basically closing two thread and opening another one. But I'm not gonna propose it, especially because I'm a fence-straddler myself.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

What the heck:

I PROPOSE that we close the existing Buffy and Angel threads, and open a new combined thread. The name of this combined thread will be "Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!"

[I'm happy to leave the title out of the proposal, but with the Buffy Thread closed, I figured I'd expedite things]

Up with the sun

Seconded.

(Not agreed, necessarily. but seconded.)

Also, can we get a temporary Buffy 5? We could call it something like "Buffy 5: Slayers all come with expiration dates," then change to something better after the vote.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Seconded.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I say vote (and y'all know that's not something I say lightly). The problem with trying to defer to sentiment is that it tends to be too conservative -- right now, we have a few people on each side, but as the bullshit consensus happens, it consenses not around "I feel this way" but around "somebody else might feel bad even if they haven't actually said so."
