I do think voting on this might make sense, since it's basically closing two thread and opening another one. But I'm not gonna propose it, especially because I'm a fence-straddler myself.

What the heck:
I PROPOSE that we close the existing Buffy and Angel threads, and open a new combined thread. The name of this combined thread will be "Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!"
[I'm happy to leave the title out of the proposal, but with the Buffy Thread closed, I figured I'd expedite things]
Seconded.
(Not agreed, necessarily. but seconded.)
Also, can we get a temporary Buffy 5? We could call it something like "Buffy 5: Slayers all come with expiration dates," then change to something better after the vote.
Seconded.
Seconded.
I say vote (and y'all know that's not something I say lightly). The problem with trying to defer to sentiment is that it tends to be too conservative -- right now, we have a few people on each side, but as the bullshit consensus happens, it consenses not around "I feel this way" but around "somebody else might feel bad even if they haven't actually said so."
Seconded.
Is that a "second", amych?
t edit never mind -- Sean took us over.
Is that a "second", amych?
It was me taking so long to sort out my overuse of the faux-verb* "consensing" that the whole nomination and seconding happened while I was in the edit box. If Sean hadn't done it, though, I'd second.
* Or is it a gerund?
Ok, what do we do in the mean time? Buffy 4 just shut down.
