Riley: Oh, yeah. Sorry 'bout last time. Heard I missed out on some fun. Xander: Oh yeah, fun was had. Also frolic, merriment and near-death hijinks.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So, basically -- if you notice your error before someone else gets to it, delete it. That's the only way around one of us doing it.

Our good riddance thread has been open a long time this year.

Anything standing in the way of closing it when AmyLiz announces her present?

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I still haven't heard if my Secret Santa received her present, which I sent back in January.

I wonder if Dani can help with that.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I know it's been brought up before, but since the thread's about to roll over, I'd like to suggest that we update the title of Boxed Set to more accurately reflect the content of the thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

First we need to admit to the actual content of the thread. Then define it. And accept it.

Me, I still want it to be what it says.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sigh.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Well, okay. Recent discussion has been about Smallville, Stargate (both versions), Battlestar Galactica, and Farscape, according to my memory.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

The 2 (or, I guess 3) big ones that are talked about that aren't there are, IMO, Stargate and Battlestar Galactica.

I understand what you're saying, ita, but I'd rather have the titel reflect reality than have the thread seem to be in denial about its content, given that I don't think pulling BSG and Stargate out would work/happen.

Barring all else, I'd rather see no shows explicitly listed than the current sampling.

I think each time we expand the list, then more attach. I have no confidence in it not becoming a general (or sci-fi) TV thread.

If it is to become that, it's worthy of more discussion, if not an actual vote.
