What I gathered from his post was that there was something revealed in Safety Canary that shed light on the prior episodes.
Ahh, OK. I didn't read it that way.
A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.

Question (and I hope it isn't an inappropriate one)...
CalGal claims that the people on TPW have purchased $150,000 (over 18 months) from links from her site and she gets some kind of commission from that. Does anyone know what the total is for buffistas?
Does anyone know what the total is for buffistas?
Speaking without all the info, but probably very little. Calgal markets their affiliate links very aggressively -- she posts ads in threads, and has content related ads in sidebars. Plus, I think, if you want to publish a link to Amazon, for instance, you can automatically TPWize it and have the affiliate code added to it.
If we took on an effort like that, it would be a shift in board culture, but it certainly seems a viable approach for applicable boards, if managed well.
That reminds me -- are we still doing okay financially?
Yep, we're A-OK. I.e., have a year's worth of hosting money sitting in the bank.

Oh, no. Jon's right. I just meant that for each individual episode, on the rewatch, you know what the muses were really referring to.
Jon's right.
Oh - OK.
Can we add something to the FAQ about the spoiler policy for mostly-on-DVD shows (FF, Wonderfalls)? Also were we planning on addressing tags.. just wondering.
Addressing tags? In what fashion?
Tags that are spoilery, I would assume.
But is there a problem that needs to be addressed? Tags have been kept community-acceptably spoiler-free for yonks. If there is going to be heightened sensitivity/requirements, then more detail is needed.
If a tag is thought too spoilery, it should be raised, just like a spoilery post should be called to attention. But that's not new.
