Doesn't most (though not all) of the whitefont in Natter come from stuff that has been broadcast but it's whitefonted out of politeness for those who haven't seen it yet?
Bureaucracy 3: Oh, so now you want to be part of the SOLUTION?
A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.

D'oh! That's right. Never mind, then.
I don't think they'll go pay. They'll either stay optionally free, or disappear. I'm not optimistic, but willing to be surprised.
I am ita's echo on this; I hope with fervour that Lance manages to keep it going, because it's been my own home forum for a good long time now and I'm one of his bigger donors, but I'm not optimistic.
The people I've heard opine the loudest seem to dislike PF.
Consider this a loud opining. I hate WX with a stone passion, and find it grossly user-hostile. Infinitely prefer PF, obviously. But since both places are contingency-only insofar as it relates to this particular community, it hopefully won't become an issue, or at least, very rarely.
I would have to come down on the side of PF, too. I complain about it, but only in relation to the Phoenix board, not as compared to WX.
WX goes wonky far too often. It may be designed a little more user-friendly, but it is too erratic.
When are we doing Goodbye and Good Riddance, and what are we calling it?
