Speaking of thread titles... Did we have a title for the next F2F thread?
If not there were a few party quotes I thought might fit. It might be nice the tribute the show that brought us together.
Xander: This ain't no tea party, princess.
Faith: If we're gonna party, let's get on with it.
Buffy: Sure! We saved the world. I say we party!
The last one only if the recounts change the outcome of the presidential election...
I like tea party. It has tiara tie-ins with the "princess."
I love "This ain't no tea party, princess."
I am thinking about this part of Bev's post after DC as I ponder its utter truthfulness about our F2F's:
All dolled up, we headed for the elevator. There was a sole, singular, defenseless man caught unawares by our collective gorgeousness when the doors opened. He didn't seem able to make eye contact, but ducked out of the elevator as we got on. Then he apparently realized he was on the wrong floor and ducked back in. "If you're going anywhere but the penthouse, tell us and we'll let you off on the way," someone said. "If you're good," I murmured. I'm not sure he heard me.
Carried over from Bitches:
All the ~ma you need, all the time. And the comfiest couch never to be seen on Monty Python.
This should so be added to the Bitches description header.
Yeah, I'm thinking the header for Bitches is overdue for an overhaul. It's not much of what's in the header currently. It could use a more apt description.
Cause I know this thread is hungry for traffic.
I rather like "We saved the world. I say we party!"
F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?
I like that, ND. Hits on more than one cylinder.
I like SA's suggestion.
Oh, and I hardly ever post or read there anymore, but I like P-C's suggested revision to the Bitches threadheader nonetheless.
And while I'm blathering about titles and headers and suchlike .... could we agree that after Natter 29, we go back to more workfriendly thread names? Sorry to be a prude.
