Sounds all right. I think the speed of the thread is also an issue. It's not how many posts are left, but how long till it will turnover. If there's a TV show or watch-and-post happening, then it makes sense to start a little early because the thread's going to run out faster than normal. But here, I don't think it'll turn over till Monday. Maybe Sunday, depending on the discussion.
There are two episodes of Lost re-airing Saturday night. You think we can't eat up 160 posts in the next 2 days over that?
Well, point. Small. It is a repeat, after all. Though if someone brings up Lost, yeah, trouble. But weekend posting is way lower than weekday posting. If the Lost discussion takes off, then that might be the signal to start throwing out names. But as has been observed before, starting too early only leads to trouble.
You know, you could just burn through the posts having this conversation IN Natter. Since that's where it maybe belongs anyway.
