What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

, , "charactername", "quotation", ""

Just to make sure I have this right, cause when I get the time, I'd love to submit:

2, 22, "Buffy", "Me.", "B"

Just not certain where you actually want carets and quotation marks in the formatting. Oh, and how does one format a dialogue?

2, 22, "Angel", "What's left?", "Buffy", "Me.", "B"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The carets are just place holders -- you can leave them out, or I'll strip them. For multi-character, following the formatting in the quotes displayed -- you'd submit:

2, 22, "", "Angel: What's left? Buffy: Me.", "B"

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Someone with mad skilz should put the colors in the post of Cindy's that was just COMM'd. Original post is here

What is even happening?

Hee. Oh, that would be a major pain in the ass.

(I'm just cringing because I didn't proof. There are tons of stupid errors in there.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sorry, I wasn't awake enough to do the pretty colors.

(I'm just cringing because I didn't proof. There are tons of stupid errors in there.)

If you want me to fix any of it, let me know. It was too good not to be COMMed.

Couldn't you just grab the source code from the original post(s)?

What is even happening?

sj, corrections (gah Cindy, proof-read, will ya?)

From first post, I omitted "pre-Christopher" from the following:

Parenthood only compounds this poison's seemingly seasonal side-effects. Lack of sleep doesn't help one withstand the taint of the red kryptonite, but I could still survive on a couple of hours, and have Lex Luthor in lock-up by lunch. I was just a little crankier about it, than before.

Towards the end of that, I should have written:

but pre-Christopher, I could still survive on a couple of hours, and have Lex Luthor in lock-up by lunch. I was just a little crankier about it, than before.

I omitted the word "once" from the following (from the 2nd post):

We'd recorded it on TiVo, and only tuned into it, we'd done all of our nightly chores, such that we could go to bed earlyish, knowing we were well rested, and ready to face Monday, and once my poor old husband *thought* he had the '04 Red Sox out of his system.

It should read:

We'd recorded it on TiVo, and only tuned into it, once we'd done all of our nightly chores, (etc.)

I transposed letters here:

And nobody expects an ACLS play-off game to go five hours and two minutes, total. Nobody expects Lowe, Timlin, Foulke, Embree, and Leskanic (!) to keep the Evil Empire at bay for so long, either.

It should read ALCS, instead of ACLS.

There are probably more, but that's what jumps out at me. I don't think anyone needs to go to the trouble of editing the colors into COMM. Besides, that'll be a pain in the arse for shrift, later, too.

(And thank you. I am flattered. For context's sake, I think you should put in your own comment to which I was responding. It's not like you're COMMing yourself.)

Up with the sun

For now, however, with 700+ Firefly quotes in there, you're going to get a lot of spacey goodness.

700 quotes out of 14 episodes? That's better than a quote a minute.

For comparison, how many Buffy/Angel quotes are in there, for 144 Buffys and 110 Angels?

Swouncing

700 quotes out of 14 episodes? That's better than a quote a minute.

Sorry, I had no idea there were so many, let alone that there were more than the "Buffy" and "Angel" ones already in use.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

No prob, just means we need to step up our B & A quotes.
