I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

So, I currently watch something that doesn't have a thread (BB5, TAR, Nip/Tuck, Lost, Jack&Bobby,...) and I whitefont about it that night or the next day. cool?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We need to decide on the time period is. Sumi says 14 days, I say 365.

You mean continue to whitefont discussion about it for the next 365 days?

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I think that, in general, we tend to discuss TV right after it's happened. It's not terribly common as yet that we even discuss previouslies. And it seems to me that we tend to err on the side of whitefont.

I think "a year" is hard to remember, for whitefonting purposes, and would suggest instead something that works along season lines. I definitely don't remember at what time of year I saw the ER episode in which Dr. Rocket got squashed by a helicopter, but I know that it was 1+ seasons ago.

I had the idea that it was whitefont for the current season. I'm not sure that there is practical difference between that and a year, though.

That's pretty much why I said 365. Seasons vary in length, but they don't tend to be longer than a year.

But sometimes, especially with reality shows like TAR and Survivor, they can be less than a year.

ok so whitefont for a season and then it can be regular font is what peoiple are discussing? but there is no problem with whitefonting shows right away, right?

And as long as the shows do not have athread they can go in Natter?

This is basically how I've been playing, but I know some things get discussed out of whitefont before a full season has passed.

I really didn't want to bring this up, but reality shows are different in that they seem to be news, and also not shipped to other markets.

Do we care to distinguish?

We make it a season, and if you're watching the show you know how long a season is, so the variables are accounted for. Or do we make it a day? Or two weeks?

If we make it a season, can you discuss a season finale right after it airs?
