Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

Hold your ground, Jesse.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Natter 27: Consense, or billytea is going to make us v*te

Oh, you don't know the half of it. I'd make it preferential! over dozens of thread titles! Preferential!

t starts capering and making 'boogaboogaboo' noises

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think I'd like to see us start voting on the things.

I'd only like the voting idea if everyone who voted coulc pick, say, their five favorint titles (ranked 1 to 5) and then when the votes are totaled, higher-ranked titles would receive more points.

Otherwise, we need the consensus thing so if a title that one person likes has little support, this person can throw their support to another title.

Also, we'd still need to come to a consensus on similar titles (or variations on a single theme) to pick the best one of the lot to be voted on.

Anyway, I think we should not vote this time, seeing as we're so close now to Natter 26 ending.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

No consensus.

(I'm from Chicago so I can vote more than once....)

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

If there's no consensus, I'm just going to pick whatever suits my fancy. And don't think I won't turn this car around, either.

Sorry, I didn't know that's what this is called. My post was a x-post with Billytea's.

preferential voting business that seems to have caused such a controversy back in the day?

Oops, I didn't know this....

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I don't mean to bring up a sore topic, but could someone please explain this preferential voting business that seems to have caused such a controversy back in the day?

So it's basically what tommyrot described? Huh.
