You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I also like the announcing of the book in the press thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Runs from the thread with horrible flashbacks to the Deathmatch kerfuffle flying through his brain...

Ann, that's a ferret.

Agreed that posting in Press is good.

It's one post a month -- not enough to clog things up. And unlike new eps in the show thread, there isn't any event (like watching a new ep) to remind you to re-sub.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Up with the sun

If I see the post in Press, it will tell me the book and remind me that I'm welcome, even if I can't be there all the time, so I like the idea.

Agreed. Once a month posts should be fine.

Hey. New board.

Huh. I was automatically italicized by a post that's very old, over in Buffy. That's kind of cool.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's not the age, it's the proximity.

Quick-edits. They're the way of the future.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?
