Daniel, I didn't know there was a city outside Sang Sacre, run by Buffistas!

Cindy, I think you missed the part about it being voted on immediately...
COMM #5967, she is vaguely spoilery.
back to the off-topic topic for a moment...
It is. The antisemitic site, jewwatch dot com, has been the highest rank for about 3 years. Someone finally made this known publicly about a month ago, and they are now trying to push the Wikipedia page for Jew higher by putting a link to it under the word Jew on as many web pages as possible.
The wiki page is number one, right now. That 'watch' page is now down to number 2, now.
Yesterday, at the top of the page, above the results, there were news hits, about the popularity of that 'watch' site. Today, above the results, Google has a link with the following text:
Offensive Search Results www.google.com/explanation We're disturbed about these results as well. Please read our note here.
It's good to see them publically acknowledge the phenom, and explain what they can. Google notes that people looking for information on things Jewish tend to use search terms such as Judaism, Jewish, etc., where more racist motivated searches tend to use the word Jew. They link two informative sites on Jewish people/Judaism, and also the ADL, JewishInternetAssociation.org, and Google's results for a search on anti-semitism.

It may be off topic for our Bureaucracy, but Google rocks!
That "explanation" link has been up above the results for some time, but yeah, they rock.
The wiki page is number one, right now.
Woohoo!
That "explanation" link has been up above the results for some time, but yeah, they rock.
Yesterday, I didn't see it at the top of the search results page (it may have been there, I just didn't see it). They had the usual news-y type links above the main hits.
Woohoo!
Yepper. I wish I had an important web page to link it.
Woohoo!
Totally Natter, but tomorrow is the official "Holocaust Memorial Day" in Israel. It starts pretty much now, since in Judaism the day always starts on the sun-down of the previous evening, and I find it fitting, in a way t /Natter
Can we all agree that a "Hi. I'm new. Here I am introducing myself." post in Press should be deleted? Good, because I already deleted it.

If the person posts in one of the nattery theads asking why, please explain. I'm behind in those threads and will probably miss it.
