Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I gotta say, the Saint Louis is my first choice. They seem very eager to work with us.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I like the location, too. In the Quarter, near Canal Street and the streetcar.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Saint Louis is sounding better and better.

So if I'm understanding things correctly we're looking at $680 to have the hospitality suite at the St. Louis from Friday night through Monday morning?

Do we have catering costs at all for our party Saturday night?

The hotel looks like a very good option, I'm just trying to get a handle on all of the costs that are associated.

Also, looking at the floorplans of the meeting areas, for the party are we talking about getting The Courtyard and then either the Louis XVI room of the Robespierre room? I also see that there is a Bar located next to the patio, can we find out that kinda costs we are looking at for drinks and for a bartender?

I really like the St. Louis. It's been my first choice as I've been reading through, too.

I have menus as word files, and Marvin says we can give them a budget and they'll work soemthing up that fits it, if we want to go that route. I don't know a good way to disseminate the menus. I can forward them to anyone who wants them, or to someone who can maybe post them somewhere. I don't know if they are on the St. Louis web site.

From cocktail information: SERVICE FEES $50.00 bartender fee for the first three hours, $10.00 per bartender for each additional hour. Cashier fee of $25.00 per hour with a 2-hour minimum/ additional hours at $10.00 per person. Hosted Bar and Hospitality Bar prices are subject to 9.75% sales tax and 20%gratuity. Cash Bar prices are fully inclusive of 9.75% sales tax and 20%gratuity. All mixes and garnishes are included: juices, sweet and dry vermouth, cassis.

Then there's a breakdown of what's available and drink prices. I can post that as well if that would be helpful.

As of last time I mentioned it to Marvin, the Courtyard is booked for that weekend, so we might have to be inside. But that wasn't definite yet. If that's a deal breaker, I'll inquire as to the current status.
