Well, I've been feeling a bit of stress because even though I booked a flight and booked a room, I didn't have final approval from work to have the Friday off. I kinda gambled. That is the week of our big conference of the year and I have a lot of responsibilities at that conference. I knew I could have all of my stuff done end of Thursday including set up for Friday morning, giving me enough time to drive back to the city, sleep and catch my early flight to DC. It would even save them money.
So they bought it. A big weight lifted off my shoulders. I'm approved, and all set. I just need to remember to pack my tiara. I guess I need something to wear too.
Whew.
