It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

If you want to return it to Netflix, Lee, I can always bring mine.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

(blink)

Freaking out about what to wear? Good grief, nononono, don't do that. This is going to be fun!

Lyra, I'm not going to any parties in costume - OK, middle America would probably think I was, but honestly, it's the sort of thing I'd wear to a non-costume party. Just my black leather "corset for Kerry" over a black long sparkly mesh and beaded skirt, with high heels. Nic's going in costume - black leather pants, black corset over big shirt, as sort of Victorian pirate - but that's because he never gets to wear a costume and thinks it'll be fun. But mine's not a costume. I just wear leather a lot, since it's one of about four things used to make clothing that I'm not allergic to.

And I have corsetry, lots of it; a gamut of sizes, too. I brought a hell of a goodie bag to LA two years ago. Jess, let me check my closet. I'm not a vest person, but weirdly, I think I do have a leather one. I'm just not certain I still have it.

(edited for having spelled "s-h-i-r-t" juuuuust a skosh wrongly...)

I do not have corsets, I do not have leather, I do not have beaded skirts. I do have a long swishy black skirt, but I'm not sure what I would wear with it.

I think I'll do some shopping this weekend, see what I can dig up. It's more about me wanting to play dress-up than about hating my clothes, really. But if anyone wants to bring anything extra along, or email me, I'm a size 16 or so.

Lyra, if you want me to bring a corset for fun, I probably have a few that would fit your size. And really, my costume is only different from what I'd wear every day because of the corset. The skirt, I'd wear anywhere.

I just dress like that, when I'm not in jeans. I wear leather to the supermarket.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Lyra, I won't be dressed up, because, as I occasionally angst about in Bitches, my current clothing budget is slim-to-nonexistent, and anything I buy has to be very, very, very practical.

Our wings are not tired

Hey kids. It sounds like I'm going to miss a lot of fun in Seattle.

I'm here to ask where we are on the New Orleans info though. It's been very quiet and I really really really want to get these last decisions made about which hotel so that we can get the contracts pulled up and signed and lock in some good rates.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Huzzah! That just leaves Seattle, and possibly the drive from San Fran to L.A. (Though I can do that on my own.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Billytea, I have some thoughts about the drive from SF to LA. Once I am awake enough to collect them and make sure they are coherent, I will email you about it.

That may not be for a while though. LIke maybe my lunch time.

Me too! Many of them involve the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
