Wesley: Illyria can be...difficult. Testing her might be hard without getting someone seriously hurt. Angel: We'll make Spike do it. Wesley: Good.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Billytea, I have some thoughts about the drive from SF to LA.

Me too! Many of them involve the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

-t's Top Five Hotels in New Orleans:

1. Sleep Inn & Suitesin Metairie
Advantage: cheap $69.99/night for a double
Disadvantage: in Metairie, less convenient for spontaneous tourism, no response yet to my queries regarding Prom Space and transportation

2. Radisson on Canal
Double $99/night, Quad $119/night, Audubon A for Hospitality Suite at $200 for the entire stay, adding Audubon B&C for Prom Space for an additional $300
Parking is $28/night, streetcar line stops outside hotel
Rooftop pool

3. New Orleans Fine Hotels various locations $109/night

Well, I plan (work and removalists permitting) to drive from SF to LA over Nov 26-7. I'd expect to check out the aquarium on the 26th.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I really like the look of the St. Louis, but the Radisson looks like it has slightly better prices.

BTW, I think -t's link to the St Louis goes to the restaurant, not the hotel. The hotel's main page is here.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

To avoid confusion, I fixed -t's link to the St. Louis.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Companion goldfish on request.

Okay, this needs more explanation.

I just hope it's not a Firefly reference...
