Juliana, if it is the right one, we could get a suite with a king bed and a sofa sleeper in the living room for $269/night, which for three people isn't horrible.
That could be cool.
Brunch! Yay!!

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

I will play around tonight, and see if I can get something better.
Sparky, if you want me to reserve a room for you/DH at the same time, possible to be cancelled, let me know.
Lee, I think if we come together we will stay with Jeff's friend to hold down costs. If it is just me, I will show up at your hotel looking pitiful and beg for a place on the floor, maybe. If you're crazy enough to let me know where you're staying. Hee!
I am SO doing the happy dance that the F2F will be in New Orleans! Yay!
I am also agreeing with the consensus on retiring and reserving the CP awards (though I wasn't aware of any contention regarding them).
I am sad that I can't go to Seattle during Halloween, so I suppose I shall just have to make up for it by throwing a giant birthday party instead.
And now I am hungry.
Yeah, there's never been a formal award process -- as far as I could ever tell, a bunch of people just got together and did it.
The process got unwieldy this year. The first year the consensus was obvious and easy to figure out. This year - less so, and it got uncomfortable for me. I think JZ and I will try to get out the ones which are still owed, but I'm fine with putting them aside until there is once again an obvious, crying, indusputable need for them.
Retiring medals until, like King Arthur, they are needed desperately by Britain b.org....I'm for it.
billytea, Option 3 looks good but my plans can be flexi for your San Diego sojourn, and I doubt the zoo critters mind when you visit so long as you do. I can even likely offer transit from SD to LA or vice versa...

That would be great. But note that I'll be travelling down on a Monday, and back up on a Friday. I don't want to eat into your annual leave.

I also would support this.
I want to go to Seattle on Halloween. Let me see what the rates would be like.
Lyra Jane, that would be really cool.
Juliana, insent to your hotmail account.
Okay, so maybe I don't have my plane or hotel reservations yet, but let's focus on the important stuff: Are we doing anything for which we need costumes, and if so, what should I wear?
