Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Billytea, I will be out of town for Thanksgiving, so I hope the SoCal part of your trip is some other time, on a purely selfish level. However it works out though, please let me know if you need a place to stay in LA.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Thank you, and I probably will. I couldn't work out Thanksgiving in L.A., but I'll likely be there pretty close to it on one side or the other. When are you out of town?

Thanksgiving at Deb's is giving option 3 a definite boost.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

There is also very good champagne, and there are cats to hang out with. Plus, among other things, I am considering making a chapeau noir as one of the desserts this year. Or a winter harvest tart with tiny champagne grapes that have been glazed in redcurrant jelly.

Or both.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You don't get half the purse unless you beat me, Allyson. But if you come over right now, you stand a damned good chance.

I haven't really decided yet. I was planning on being there for the whole weekend, but that can be rearranged, if it means getting to see you (and going to the SD zoo)

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I'll be in Alabama Nov. 20-27, so Option 1 is obviously the only one I like.

I'll know when the ice comes off, Lee.

San Diego Zoo will be happening either earlier (say about the 16th) or later (say the 30th). Well, Option 1 would mean the 23rd or so, but I think that's less likely than the other two. I'll be in San D for twice as long as the other cities, so I'm trying to spread the wealth. L.A. will get at least one weekend day, and either Seattle or SF will probably get Thanksgiving. And I will get pie.
