No. And yes. It's always sudden.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I'll be in Alabama Nov. 20-27, so Option 1 is obviously the only one I like.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'll know when the ice comes off, Lee.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I haven't really decided yet. I was planning on being there for the whole weekend, but that can be rearranged, if it means getting to see you (and going to the SD zoo)

San Diego Zoo will be happening either earlier (say about the 16th) or later (say the 30th). Well, Option 1 would mean the 23rd or so, but I think that's less likely than the other two. I'll be in San D for twice as long as the other cities, so I'm trying to spread the wealth. L.A. will get at least one weekend day, and either Seattle or SF will probably get Thanksgiving. And I will get pie.

D'oh! Yeah, I'm afraid it's behind the other two right now.

Oh well. I'll just have to be sure to put Australia atop my list of destinations for after my first bestseller! t /optimist There's no question of skipping Thanksgiving with the fam, unfortunately. It'll be the first time most of them have met Annabel, and my nephew Nathan will be there. I really, really want to see him, since he'll also be leaving the country soon, and for a much less desirable destination (Iraq).

t cries some more just because

Ouch. Especially right before a trip. I hope you are okay.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

You don't get half the purse unless you beat me, Allyson. But if you come over right now, you stand a damned good chance.

But wouldn't she get the whole purse if she beats you?

And is it OK for me to option the film rights to this?

And what did you do to yourself, ma'am?

Hmm. Let me know what you decided to do. I think I can work out to be here whenever you are, and hopefully I can make it down to SD as well.
