Is this a yearly thing? My cousin's thinking about moving up there, and this would be a good reason to get up there to see her and stuff.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!
No re-vote, please. Let's just move forward.
I, for one, need to start planning now how I can use the Pharmacy Museum as a way to write the whole trip off on my taxes.
Take notes, get literature.
That's all I got.
It wouldn't really be a re-vote, it would be a vote off.
We're really close and there are about thirty people not included in that close decision. The will of the whole group could be more clearly discerned if we voted again between the top two.
And while I respect the "we have a decision, let's go with it" pov, I don't appreciate the notion that even discussing a vote-off is "stirring up trouble". It's a reasonable thing to consider and a day or so doing so a) won't kill us and b) could lead us to a location that the majority of the people involved support.
The majority of people may (or may not) support NO. So far, it looks like the majority of people do not support a re-vote. Or a vote-off. Or even a cagematch, other than me.
I think there'd be wide support for an ita cagematch. It's finding someone to fight you that would be tricky.
I'll fight ita for half the purse.
With four excellent candidates, it's no surprise it was a close vote.
I'm for moving on to the detail planning.
I'll go for a consensus. The question is do we do an additional vote or accept the choice and move on. Also, if we do vote what method do we use. Here is my caveat since I tried to ask about voting issues BEFORE the vote and amazingly everyone was quiet. I need to see at least 30 different people in favor of this and actually discussing it. Over 60 people voted so I think it's fair to ask for input from at least half of the folks. Otherwise this is done and we move on.
Otherwise this is done and we move on.
Amen.
