S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

There's a big Value Village out in College Park that I find some decent stuff

I've been there. It's nice.

SA, do you already have travel plans? Steph is flying right? I'd like to drive, but I can't justify driving that far by myself. Want/need a lift, SA? What about any other Midwest types? I'll be traveling from southern Indiana - if someone wants to meet in Columbus, IN, or anywhere along the route, I'd love to form a Fun Van!

Dude! That would be great. I was going to greyhound, but that might work out better. I'd just have to figure out how to get to Indiana. E me, please? Profile addy's good, but I won't be able to get to it until Sunday.

I'm most likely not going to the zoo, as I sincerely am unnerved by them. But I call dibs (with others, of course) on Time With Deb at some shiny arty cafe or somesuch.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I'm all about the shiny arty cafe, come Saturday morning. Lead me to it.

And Jess, I am indeed staying with you in NY, if that's still OK - rather to my relief (the only high-rise in which I can stay without getting creeps is the Bellagio in Vegas, for some damned reason), my daughter's plans to get me into Fubu's suite at Trump Tower came to naught. Sweet of her to think of it, though - but I'd much rather stay with you. And we can cook! Pasta y fagioli!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Deb, I am looking forward to it immensely! We should coordinate train schedules at some point.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

And we can cook!

Oh my!

Yes, please. I'm pretty much coordinate-able to whenever you'd like; I haven't bought the train ticket yet. What works for you?

Anytime late-ish Sunday is good. Trains run about every half-hour, so it's easy to be flexible. I'll email you.

Excellent, excellent (rubbing hands)

SA, be warned, I'm going to nag you - please nring "And Then Put Out The Light" with you to DC....

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I have to mail it to her yet. I've been a terrible slacker. It's going out on Monday, though.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

For those who ride the morning train from Boston to NYC or DC, is it generally crowded enough that buying a ticket in advance would be necessary? I was hoping to give myself some leeway in case a 9:20am departure doesn't work out so well, but I don't want to strand myself in Boston if buying just prior to departure isn't feasible.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

If it's not the express train, with reserved seating, I think it doesn't matter what which particular train you take, just the route. I'd check with them to be sure, but unless it's the Acela you should be okay.
