This here's a recipe for unpleasantness.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

In times past, the poll had an opportunity to indicate which you preferred, which you would be fine with, and which would rule you out entirely. I'd like to keep that format if possible, at least in getting to a top two if we go that way. If a particular city has a high number of rule-outs for some reason, it'd be nice to be able to weigh that in our decision.

I say vote for two choices, and the one that gets the most votes wins.

re: the discussion about passports for Toronto

It's not so much of a big deal coming into Canada, but it is a big deal going into the U.S. The INS (or whatever they're called now) are stationed at Pearson airport, and won't let you get on the plane if there's any question about your paperwork. Get a passport.

Additional hotel-type info:

Thirteen hotels were contacted within the last week. Ten are located in the central corridor of Kansas City, MO. Three in Kansas City, Kansas. Three hotels (in MO.) were excluded from rates and averages due to inability to meet a number of our specific needs.

Standard room rates range from $65 - $149 per night. Average = $85 Majority of hotels (75%) charge same rate for up to four people per room.

Hospitality Suite rates range from $79 - $225 per night. Average = $125

Banquet room / private dining room rates (for prom) range from $500 - $1500, depending on numerous variances.

More detailed information to come. Probably this weekend.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Another fun Minneapolis thing: Inside the Science Museum is The Museum Of Questionable Medical Devices.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is that like Dead Ringers, or something?

Hi Lee!! (I suck. I haven't gotten to Hotmail yet. Of course, I haven't been actually at home for more than 5 hours yet this week, which is where I keep the Hotmail.)

Not to worry, Juliana. I am on very slow dial up until Saturday night, so even if you sent it now, I wouldn't be done reading it until then.
