Yes, there is. There's a hurry, Xander. I'm dying...I may have as few as fifty years left.

Our wings are not tired

Hey there folks. We're not going to get the vote rolling today as we've still not gotten any info on Toronto and some information from KC still hasn't made it in. How does everyone feel about pushing the vote until Monday? We'll do the vote then, and open it up for three days and then post the results one week from today?

Sorry for the delay on this. We all got caught up in the Nilly visit which was a truly wondrous thing. I'd like to give us the chance to actually talk about these cities for a bit before we jump right into the vote.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

talk about these cities

I heard that KC slept with a couple of people to get into the top 5 list.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Works for me, ND. I have poor smonster, sick as all getout, asleep in the next room and my brain isn't working anyway.

I can't even.

Kristin, from my notes, my Toronto info post was #5419. I haven't had a chance to Nilly it up yet.

ND, regarding F2F quotes, my contact from torontotourism has had vacation and email issues, but assures that I should be getting info asap, so a couple of days leeway will mean I have better information.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm fine with waiting. We should definitely get what info we can for KC and Toronto before deciding on NO :-)

Looks good then. John, keep us posted on the info coming from Toronto and if it looks like we need a few more days we'll take it.

I've got the "Bust" article on KC that I plan on summarizing as well and a good post about the bars and restaurants in the Plaza area and I'm going to try to find out what's going on at Missouri Rep and things like that.

Okay, I'm off again, meeting my real estate agent to look at a house that I won't be able to afford.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

ND - I assume you want me to set up a poll here? How do you want it set up. Should folks rank their choices? Rate them some other way (e.g. would go / won't go)? Or just vote for one city?

I'm not sure. I'm waffling between vote for a single city and go for the top two choices.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

In times past, the poll had an opportunity to indicate which you preferred, which you would be fine with, and which would rule you out entirely. I'd like to keep that format if possible, at least in getting to a top two if we go that way. If a particular city has a high number of rule-outs for some reason, it'd be nice to be able to weigh that in our decision.
