When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Who? moi??

Allyson, people have talents. Your is obviously organizational. The Buffistas are not like other forums where others are looked upon with mercenary suspicion. Of course you would be trusted with money. You know what to do with it. I sure don't.

I didn't send you money because you yelled you had enough when I got around to sending some, so I didn't. I can neither ask for, or deny, an accounting. All I can do is reassure you.

This Nilly trip enabled all of us to get together at various venues and enjoy each other. A multiple F2F.

You could write the entire thing up and share it with us. I suspect that would be the accounting. (How it came to be, etc) I also suspect that a multiple F2F has never happened before.

The time was special, and you powered it.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Just poking my head in to say hello to everyone.

And from what the midwesterners are saying, it sounds like Nilly's next American adventure will involve rafting down the Mississippi!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Install webcams on street corners and provide a stream of images?

Done.

Who? moi??

Somewhere on the web (I don't have time to look it up right now) you can click on a map and see any corner in Manhatten. I don't think it is live. When I was messing with it, I was enthralled.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Oh, I love that Forgotten NY site. I've killed so many hours reading it. (Also, it was very useful when I found the address of where my great-grandmother grew up in Brooklyn, and was trying to figure out exactly where in Brooklyn that was, and mapquest was coming up with nothing. Eventually figured out that the street hasn't actually existed since about 1915, but that site had an old map showing where it had been.)

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

If we're planning Seattle Halloween stuff, and Jilli and I were just discussing putting a notice in Press to Talk About It this Wednesday last, as one of the Seattle Halloween PLANNERS, I'd strongly prefer that we talk about it here, as, much as I try to use it from time to time, I hate the People's Forum interface with the burning fire of a thousand suns, and you're not going to see me there unless it's an actual emergency.

Also, honestly? Halloween is less than two months away. Any planning that goes on for a coordinated small F2F will be long over, and is not going to seriously fuck with the big F2F shit.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Plei, This has nothing to do with that, but I need your snailmail address. Can you send it to me?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I had to go to a birthday party for a friend this evening. It was very nice. The people were all pleasant, the venue was really pretty, in a beautiful wooded setting, the honoree's family had gone to a lot of trouble to decorate the hall and to display a lot of her work. The food was better than I had expected. But in the middle of if all, trying to find something in common to talk about, all I could think was, "This is not my tribe. I miss my Buffistas."

{{Beverly}} Only 8 more months to the official F2F. We'll last. I hope. In the meantime, I just want to say, I fucking love you. Mwaaaah!
