Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Plei, This has nothing to do with that, but I need your snailmail address. Can you send it to me?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I had to go to a birthday party for a friend this evening. It was very nice. The people were all pleasant, the venue was really pretty, in a beautiful wooded setting, the honoree's family had gone to a lot of trouble to decorate the hall and to display a lot of her work. The food was better than I had expected. But in the middle of if all, trying to find something in common to talk about, all I could think was, "This is not my tribe. I miss my Buffistas."

{{Beverly}} Only 8 more months to the official F2F. We'll last. I hope. In the meantime, I just want to say, I fucking love you. Mwaaaah!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sail, do you ever get up to Milwaukee? I'm there a lot recently, and if we ever coincide, I'd love to try to get together.

[Or if you're ever in Chicago, the offer of a nice glass of Ponche still stands.]

whimpers.

You have Ponche?

dies.

I don't get into Milwaukee nearly as often as I like. When I do go, it usually involves family. I would, however, love an excuse to go that is not family. If you've got a free weekend, I'd love to meet you there. Heck, I'd even love an excuse to come down to Chicago. I only make it once a year or so anymore, now that my mother is gone. I need someone who likes to shop. Of course, I have to tame the credit cards a little before I hit the Miracle Mile anytime soon.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I keep swinging between Sail's accent and Katie Bee's, even now. The kids think I'm possessed.

Accent? What accent? I sound like I'm from California, right? Right? Duuuuuuude!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

What is Ponche besides, you know, the hottie from ChiPs?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ponche Caballero, a lovely little orange flavored liquour from Spain. Not easy to find over here. (If at all - mine was brought back for me.)

Eta:

Sometimes called the spirit of Spain, this is a blend of the distinguished Caballero brandy with all natural ingredients including Andalusian oranges.

There, doesn't that sound nicer?
