Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hey! I was there too, and still there for another 10 minutes or so after Kat and Kate went outside.

Gah! You were! I was so sure I'd lost track of where you were and when you left. I suck.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Allyson, no need to send me any report. And never fear, I am not giving you full credit. I know everything is about me and that without my involvement the entire plan would have fallen apart. Focused and delusional are my trademarks, I value them highly.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Can we not get too too caught up in Halloween planning until we do a little F2F 2005 discussion?

Not to worry - Lee's suggestion is perfect, and reminded me that we have a Peoplesforum thread for smaller F2Fs that we should probably use.

Definitely time to concentrate on the 2005 thing. Time, she marches.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Okay, so we have the proposals from New Orleans and Minneapolis on the table, and ND is working on Kansas City. (edit: and JohnSweden on Toronto. Sorry, bebe, didn't mean to forget you.)

Should the reps from the various cities field questions, extoll virtues, provide daily reportage, whathaveyou? Should we get into a carrot vs. potato war (Minneapolis prefer the starchy vegetables)? Install webcams on street corners and provide a stream of images? Drag in people off the street to testify?

If y'all can't tell, I'm trying to be goofy. It may be coming off as just dumb.

Minneapolis likes potatoes

Our wings are not tired

Basically now is the time to pimp your cities. Now is the time for folks unsure about cities to ask questions. Look at potential travel costs, hotel costs, all sorts of things.

Nicole helping me with KC and getting some more cost info. I'm going to post about that there is to do in KC as soon as I get a longer free moment. JohnSweden is waiting to get the information back from the Toronto Visitor's Bureau and then we'll have information from him.

So pimp cities.

Who? moi??

Allyson, people have talents. Your is obviously organizational. The Buffistas are not like other forums where others are looked upon with mercenary suspicion. Of course you would be trusted with money. You know what to do with it. I sure don't.

I didn't send you money because you yelled you had enough when I got around to sending some, so I didn't. I can neither ask for, or deny, an accounting. All I can do is reassure you.

This Nilly trip enabled all of us to get together at various venues and enjoy each other. A multiple F2F.

You could write the entire thing up and share it with us. I suspect that would be the accounting. (How it came to be, etc) I also suspect that a multiple F2F has never happened before.

The time was special, and you powered it.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Just poking my head in to say hello to everyone.

And from what the midwesterners are saying, it sounds like Nilly's next American adventure will involve rafting down the Mississippi!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Install webcams on street corners and provide a stream of images?

Done.

Who? moi??

Somewhere on the web (I don't have time to look it up right now) you can click on a map and see any corner in Manhatten. I don't think it is live. When I was messing with it, I was enthralled.
