I didn't realize until I was already outside that they made you toss your buttons out when you left.
Like the donation, tossing them out is "suggested." I kept it, and as on Friday, I wore it as an earring the rest of the day.
It's sitting right here on my desk in all its pinkness.
I kept it, and as on Friday, I wore it as an earring the rest of the day.
Oh, that's right, I remember seeing you wearing it.

Um, what am I not getting about the red tape line?
Um, what am I not getting about the red tape line?
I figured it was a bureaucracy pun. You may have figured that immediately, making me the dense one. And Jessica.
I am still basking in tehglow of Nilly Tour by proxy. i am so looking forward to reading Nilly's posts about it!
The idea of a gift needing an accounting is nonsensical to me. But if it will help Allyson sleep at night, I guess I just hope it doesn't take too much time and effort.
Can we not get too too caught up in Halloween planning until we do a little F2F 2005 discussion? Voting on the city next Wednesday, as I recall. I'd hate to see it lost in a diffferent discussion, is all.
New Orleans, if anyone was wondering, still likes carrots.

Just to confirm that I'm willing to count votes on the final round as well.
Then Trudes had to leave, and Kat and Kate took a break, which left me with Nilly.
Hey! I was there too, and still there for another 10 minutes or so after Kat and Kate went outside.

I'm loving reading all your reports. Which reminds me, I ought to finish typing up mine.
Hey! I was there too, and still there for another 10 minutes or so after Kat and Kate went outside.
Gah! You were! I was so sure I'd lost track of where you were and when you left. I suck.
Allyson, no need to send me any report. And never fear, I am not giving you full credit. I know everything is about me and that without my involvement the entire plan would have fallen apart. Focused and delusional are my trademarks, I value them highly.

Not to worry - Lee's suggestion is perfect, and reminded me that we have a Peoplesforum thread for smaller F2Fs that we should probably use.
Definitely time to concentrate on the 2005 thing. Time, she marches.
Okay, so we have the proposals from New Orleans and Minneapolis on the table, and ND is working on Kansas City. (edit: and JohnSweden on Toronto. Sorry, bebe, didn't mean to forget you.)
Should the reps from the various cities field questions, extoll virtues, provide daily reportage, whathaveyou? Should we get into a carrot vs. potato war (Minneapolis prefer the starchy vegetables)? Install webcams on street corners and provide a stream of images? Drag in people off the street to testify?
If y'all can't tell, I'm trying to be goofy. It may be coming off as just dumb.
Minneapolis likes potatoes
