If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

There is a metro stop in Friendship Heights, Tenley Town.

The metro stop in Friendship Heights is called Friendship Heights. Tenleytown/AU* is in Tenleytown. Both are on the Red Line.

The buses that go into Georgetown that I know of originate at Friendship Heights, go down Wisconsin, and turn onto M Street.

(*American Universty, not Alternate Universe.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was just coming back to fix that, Jessica. Tenleytown is closer to Georgetown, right?

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I'm going to need a city map of DC. Last time I was there, the dinosaurs Bev was talking about still roamed the earth.

And I'll watch you all do Lush from the Starbucks across the street. When I walked into the SF Lush with Betsy, my entire autoimmune system went redline.

Yes, but it's not really close to it. Friendship Heights is right on the DC/Maryland border, and Tenleytown is the next stop in.

DC Metro system map.

Our wings are not tired

I've never been to DC, I'm really looking forward to this.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I want to at least peek into Lush, since I've never been. But it may be too much for me, too, in which case I'll be across the street in Starbucks---with Deb!EeeeeeE!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

There are buses that go along M street, but I don't know how one gets to them if one is not coming from Friendship Heights.

The Georgetown Metro Shuttle (aka the Blue Bus) goes from M Street (in front of Barnes and Noble) to the Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom metro stops. Costs $1, supposedly runs every 10 minutes but actually more like 15 or 20.

Oddly, Lush in the only scented-stuff store where mine doesn't. (And just a warning, 'cause I'm not sure how sensitive you are to it -- you can smell it from nearly a block away. It's not really strong at all until you're right in front of it, but it is noticable.)

Thrive to spite them

I've only been to DC the one other time with the other internet people. We went to the Zoo and saw the pandas and other animals.

All the plans sound fun, I'm not sure what I'll want to do.

Our wings are not tired

To a large degree I'm gonna play it by ear. So much of my life has to be seriously scheduled that when it's time for vacation I really despise getting locked into a schedule in any way.
