Haven't you killed me enough for one day?

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Thrive to spite them

I've only been to DC the one other time with the other internet people. We went to the Zoo and saw the pandas and other animals.

All the plans sound fun, I'm not sure what I'll want to do.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

But it may be too much for me, too, in which case I'll be across the street in Starbucks---with Deb!EeeeeeE!

(grinning like a mad thing at Bev)

Our wings are not tired

To a large degree I'm gonna play it by ear. So much of my life has to be seriously scheduled that when it's time for vacation I really despise getting locked into a schedule in any way.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Lush uses ground almonds in many of their products, so people with severe nut allergies should probably stay away.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Where are the cool thrift stores?

meara - Apr 14, 2004 6:34:25 pm PDT #877 of 9999

Sadly, Jon, DC is rather regrettably lacking in a concentration of cool thrift stores. There's a big Value Village out in College Park that I find some decent stuff at, but it's not "cool". There's a couple in Takoma Park that aren't bad.

unlikely event that a hotel employee notices we suddenly have four people in our room instead of two I will easily and simply explain it by having sex with meara.

t starts looking for hotel tip line

t remembers RLiz's age, and that Reema would have to kill me

t starts macking on Kate when the hotel people come

Yup - that would have been what nailed me. I mean, I walked in behind betsy and buckled at the knees. Only thing that does me that fast is nut fibers in the air.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

For the airplane aficionados, the National Air and Space Museum has opened up an annex near Dulles Airport: The Udvar-Hazy Center. It has more room than the museum downtown and you'll be able to see the Enola Gay, the space shuttle Enterprise, and a SR-71 Blackbird amongst other things.

You will need a car to get there, but it's so very worthwhile. It's probably an all-day trip; the Center is more than 760,000 sq.ft. For more information, visit [link]
