There's something about a food that moves all by itself that gives me the heebie-jeebies.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

What sort of impression do our gatherings generally make on the non-Buffista significant others who attend?

Bec seemed pretty happy with her first Buffista encounter Sunday.

Mostly lurking...

I don't know about SOs, but vw's brother tends to roll his eyes a lot when we get going.

Doesn't mean he doesn't like you all...he just found us a little weird and over-analysis-y (I know that's not a word, but...well...couldn't think of anything else).

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

over-analysis-y (I know that's not a word, but...well...couldn't think of anything else).

Overanalytical.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Doesn't mean he doesn't like you all...he just found us a little weird and over-analysis-y (I know that's not a word, but...well...couldn't think of anything else.

Oh, I know. Sorry, I didn't mean to imply otherwise. He's a good guy.

Oh, I know you didn't mean to. Just...well...he's my little brother...gotta defend him. Now, if you want to make fun of the fact that his bathroom is coordinated, I'll be all on board with that.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

His BATHROOM?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

he just found us a little weird and over-analysis-y

Hee. On Sunday, I poured syrup on my sausage, and was a little surprised when none of the people I was eating with (MM, Aimee, and Thomash) said anything about it.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I don't follow you, Nora.

I just meant, it was a general question, and it was answered specifically. As an insecure sort, I read it as, "well, she was kind weirded out by most of the crowd, but Matt, she liked you."

My blood running cold is certainly an exaggeration. If I said 2 words to FAQ girl all night I'd be surprised, I'm certainly not trolling for reassurances. It just struck me is all.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

G has had no problem with the Buffistas he's met. Then again, he goes to a number of science fiction conventions a year, so he's not easily startled.(Oh, and he'll be at dinner tonight with us)

Ann, that's a ferret.

What sort of impression do our gatherings generally make on the non-Buffista significant others who attend?

Hubs thinks you/we are completely and hopelessly weird, just like my RL SF/gamer friends.

over-analysis-y (I know that's not a word, but...well...couldn't think of anything else).

Buffista.
