I just meant, it was a general question, and it was answered specifically. As an insecure sort, I read it as, "well, she was kind weirded out by most of the crowd, but Matt, she liked you."
My blood running cold is certainly an exaggeration. If I said 2 words to FAQ girl all night I'd be surprised, I'm certainly not trolling for reassurances. It just struck me is all.
G has had no problem with the Buffistas he's met. Then again, he goes to a number of science fiction conventions a year, so he's not easily startled.(Oh, and he'll be at dinner tonight with us)
What sort of impression do our gatherings generally make on the non-Buffista significant others who attend?

His BATHROOM?
Yup. It's red and black. Apparently (I haven't seen it...only pictures), the shower curtain is red, the rugs (my 23-year-old brother has RUGS in his bathroom) are black, the sink accessories are also black. But, the best part? His towels. Bath towels are red; hand towels are black; wash clothes are red. And, when he has guests, he puts out a stack for each person...bath towel, hand towel, wash cloth. Isn't that hysterical?

Oh, no no. I meant the plural "you". She's even lurked here once or twice since I've met her but, as I said in the FAQ, she wants this to be my "private" place.

I think the consensus on Hubs was "adorable", so he either is okay with weird or has a great poker face.
I have a coordinated bathroom (taupe and black) AIFG! but that stuff with the stack for guests is just CRAZY!
