Joyce: Dawn, you be good. Xander: We will. Just gonna play with some matches, run with scissors, take candy from some guy, I don't know his name.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I finally got around to reading the posts on that fateful night. Ridiculously amazing. And I think Kristin wins the Best First Night on Buffistas Award.

Nice story, Jon. And how much do I love the moniker "FAQ Girl"?

What is even happening?

Me, too. But as I found out at Nillyfest, it sounds a leetle too close to fat girl.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I must admit I'm quite relieved that Nilly got her phone back! I felt like a total ass for forgetting that I had it in my purse when I left. oops.

Absconder!

Tal, I'm so relieved your loved ones are ok.

Well, eff-ai-cue girl really doesn't have the same ring to it.

See, I'd never been exposed to the term being verbalized as "fack" before Somerville. I always assumed that if the term were spoken aloud, it would be as "eff-ai-cue" after the manner that the individual letters in URL are sounded out.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I'm with Matt.

(I wish!!!)

(Hi Matt!)

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, Matt. Oh, Nora. Does this mean that you two have never read the Buffista etiquette filk? (Scroll to the end to admire the truly brilliant use of the "fack" pronunciation of FAQ.)

(Hi Nora!)

The FAQ Girl discussion brings up a question I've vaguely wondered about. What sort of impression do our gatherings generally make on the non-Buffista significant others who attend?

Well, OK, I *knew* about "fack" but my silly brain wants to spell it out.

I mostly want to be cool like Matt so I exaggerated.

There, are you happy now???

runs away dramatically sobbing

absents self from conversation, as last non-Buffista SO steadfastly refused to attend any Buffista gatherings, one of several factors in his becoming an ex-SO.
