"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Conscious again following my, shall we say, unexpectedly lengthy return from Boston. But I can't complain about the Murphy's Law effect on my travel plans too much, as it resulted in me partaking of Nora & Tom's excellent hospitality and getting far more Nilly visitation time than I'd expected, as well as a surprise chance to visit with Tommyrot this morning when he came to my rescue with a drive to O'Hare. Thanks very much for putting me up and driving me around folks, you were lifesavers!

It was really great seeing everyone Monday and Tuesday nights, and getting to spend Tuesday touring the museum and Boston's historical sights in the best company possible. The Lord of the Rings exhibit could only have been more fun if they'd abducted the actual cast to act as docents. And strolling around Boston Common that afternoon was likewise ideal, with beautiful sunny weather and waterfowl aplenty.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

And he ran away. I mean, really looked frightened, turned and began to run. We called him back, and he just looked bewildered, saying “I’ll need more water.”

This still makes me giggle. Maybe you had to be there!

MATT! Matt's home! Phew! How were your adventures in Davis Square after we parted ways?

Nora, that is just delightful.

Matt, good to see you made it home. I was glad to hear that you and Tommyrot hooked up, even if the rest of us in Chicago were Matt-deprived.

What is even happening?

This picture includes Tom, Jon B, and Jon B's FAQ Girl. FAQGirl is even prettier in person. Also, I need to note that photos do no justice to thessaly. Actually, Ellen got some pretty good shots of her, but in person? Yowza. She's this incredible combination of smokin' redhead heat + sunny smile, with a great laugh. She also managed to work "Namaste, m*therf*cker," into the conversation, which kills me every time.

Ellen was really strict about demanding candid shots. The first photo on the album is not a candid, but a faux candid. Demandy!Ellen* came into the hallway where Nilly and I were talking, and so we put our arms around each other, and posed. Ellen would brook no insolence and demanded we act naturally, even if it had to be faked. Hence the goof(ier than usual) photo of me, which is totally worth it, because that first one is a great shot of Nilly laughing, and I can still hear her laughter in my mind's eye ear.

*Okay, so Ellen is actually funny, cute, fun, sweet, kind and being with her is an all around good time, but I claim poetic license.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

She does exist! And she looks a bit like Maggie Gyllenhaal.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Those are awesome pictures. Nora and Tom are so cute together.
