Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I was just about to ask about this- wasn't there quiet talking and discussion and mellow hanging out in LA (at Allyson's) and San Francisco (at deb's) and people could hang out with Nilly, just have to keep it chill and respect the rules?

Yup. We just hung out at Deb's Friday evening, and Saturday during the day there was a long walk in Golden Gate Park and then the BBQ.

And dinner Sunday evening, which was when I was finally able to join in on the fun (thank you K-Bee for calling me!). Way too damn short.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm diggin' Deb's Yoyodyne tshirt. Want.

This is me. Everytime I see a picture with Deb in this shirt, I pause for an 'ooooh.'

Plus, loving the Lilty stories. Please continue!!! With all the details! The stories are almost better than the pictures.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Jess, I figure I'll be out and about most of the day on Saturday, but if Nilly and folks are going to a late night show of De La Guarda, will you be around in the evening?

[Edit: and hell yeah on the Hindi music video! But I know not this The Apple of which you speak.]

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Having seen De La Guarda I can say that I saw no audience members undressed and only a very few (who were clearly eager) get pulled into participating. Most of the show, at least at the time I saw it (4 years ago), did not involve any participation. There is no traditional stage and there is lots of dancing within the audience, but it is not required and I certainly didn't. It was fun.

She is spending the day with Other People, so there will be no Buffista open house.

Jesse is correct about that for Saturday.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Sorry, Nora! I let a longstanding desire win out and went to Best Buy to get myself a ridiculously extravagant combo Promotion/Birthday present. Parte the Thirde coming shortly while my present charges. (See Technology thread. I have no self-control.)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Ok, booked in to see The Lion King on Saturday night. Feeling a bit better.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Katerina! I love love LOVE this picture!!!

Foamy!

Buffistas t-shirts make me smile. I would commit crime to obtain a Yoyodyne Systems t-shirt.

Um.

Just dipping my toe in here to thank those who've shared their Nilly experiences.

And to ask billytea if I may tag:

First there was Muppets On Ice. Now we are proud to present to you our latest show, Smurfs On Acid.
