Having seen De La Guarda I can say that I saw no audience members undressed and only a very few (who were clearly eager) get pulled into participating. Most of the show, at least at the time I saw it (4 years ago), did not involve any participation. There is no traditional stage and there is lots of dancing within the audience, but it is not required and I certainly didn't. It was fun.
She is spending the day with Other People, so there will be no Buffista open house.
Jesse is correct about that for Saturday.
Sorry, Nora! I let a longstanding desire win out and went to Best Buy to get myself a ridiculously extravagant combo Promotion/Birthday present. Parte the Thirde coming shortly while my present charges. (See Technology thread. I have no self-control.)
Ok, booked in to see
The Lion King
on Saturday night. Feeling a bit better.
Katerina! I love love LOVE this picture!!!
Foamy!
Buffistas t-shirts make me smile. I would commit crime to obtain a Yoyodyne Systems t-shirt.
Just dipping my toe in here to thank those who've shared their Nilly experiences.
And to ask billytea if I may tag:
First there was Muppets On Ice. Now we are proud to present to you our latest show, Smurfs On Acid.
I had
just
escaped The Vestibules' "Christmas On Acid" earworm, and now it's back.
Ick.
Listening to OMWF soundtrack all afternoon. It makes long days bearable. May need to move on to something else soon, though.
I'm following Trudy around NYC on Saturday since she's putting me up that night now. (Yay! Sleeping at Trudy's place!) If I need to buy tickets to something, I should probably do that first, huh? Not sure what I'm doing yet. Thinking about wandering down to the Village and seeking live jazz.
Will someone (Trudy?) come meet me at Penn Station in the afternoon Saturday? I get in at 3:50.
