Given that other museum-ish expeditions at F2Fs haven't attracted a large crowd -- I think it was 6 or 7 at the Field Museum in Chicago -- I wouldn't worry about a big turnout for the Zoo.
Seven, in fact. No interest in the zoo here. I lurve the Air and Space museum. Actually, I love the whole Smithsonian. Lots of other things to see on the Mall. There are monuments to visit, the Vietnam Memorial...
Possibly DX as well. (Are Theo & DX coming down together? not sure)
I have my room for Thursday, so I'm good. Theo is welcome to come down with me and Debet and any other peeps coming down from New England on Thursday. (Buffista van o' fun!) We just haven't discussed details yet, which we probably should.

Then you love the Zoo as it's part of the Smithsonian.
Plllbbtt.
Is there an ongoing list of proposed activities/field trips?
Hee.
It is all like, right there, together?
It is all like, right there, together?
Yes and no. the zoo is in a different part of town, but the majority of the Smithsonian Instutions are located on or near The Mall.
Eh, I'll probably pass on the Zoo as well. Zoos make me a bit edgy to start with, but I got very used to the one in London, which also has pandas, and the kickass reptile house of the world.
I'll probably pass on the whole museum thing, in favour of a window-shopper ramble through Georgetown. I haven't seen it in three-plus decades and I'm betting it's changed a bit.
Freak
You seen one baby panda, you seen them all. Besides, airplanes!!!
I wanna do ALL the Museums and ALL the monuments and EVERYTHING EVERYTHING EVERYTHING!!!
