Bay area istas: I have done enough research on flights to know that Sean and I will be flying Southwest, which is less than half as much than the other airlines at this point. That means Oakland--you can get there on public transportion, right?

Yes, you can do Oakland and public transit. From the airport you can take a bus to the BART station. Info here.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Lee, of course you can come - you can have my spa chair and I'll have them do a regular on me. So long as the toes get painted, I'm good either way.

And Oakland as a connector bus that goes straight to BART.

edit: crosspost.

Punishingly Intricate

I always fly Southwest when i'm visiting SF from Baltimore. Getting to the Oakland airport is easy-peasy. Boy do I miss BART...

Lee - when are you coming into Oakland - I live closeby and am much more friendly than the bus drivers!

Thanks for the info, all.

Sorry for the vague posts. Nilly and Sean and I are all driving up with ND, but since ND has to leave earlier than we want to, we are flying home. Thus, it is only getting to the airport on Sunday that is an issue.

Deb, I will probably only get a manicure, so the spa chairs should stay yours.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

And Sean, Emmett is over at his mom's tomorrow night and his room will be all sadly vacant, so if you still need a bed for Thursday night by the time you get up and read this this morning... well, here ya go.

Just adding my concurrence on this. You're welcome to Emmett's bed if you're here Thursday night. (It's a grown up sized bed.)

What time on Sunday, Lee? I'm taking Jess, Laura and Teppy to the airport on Sunday evening after the Wine Country run, around eight, but it's SFO.

I need to coordinate that part with Sean, Deb. I want to leave around 4:00. Luckily, there are plenty of flights to choose from, to both LAX and Burbank.

Lee, I'm happy to fly out whenever. 4:00 is fine, or whatever we get. And flying in to either airport is okay, too.
