It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Updates and a couple of questions, from the north end of the state:

I've booked us into the Laurel Village spa for noon on Friday. I block-booked all five spa chairs, plus a non-spa manicure for Ginger (the spa chairs are for feet). There's a Noah's right around the corner on California Street, certified kosher. Also a Starbucks and a Books Inc and after that? Downtown for shopping. Yeehaw!

Teppy, I'm picking you up Thursday afternoon - I know you're sharing the hotel with Lee, same hotel as Nicole and Deena. Question is, Lee gets in Friday - have you guys made certain the hotel knows you're going to be there one day before her? It's the sort of detail that sticks in my mind, due to a major messup at my 2000 F2F, where the woman who booked the room forgot to mention to the desk that they'd be sharing.

Jessica and beth, you're both coming into the City on Friday morning for the pedicure/downtown shopping/wander thing with Nilly, right? Do youb have each others' phones? If you get there around the same time, I can swing downtown to BART and pick you up together - you'll be coming on different BART lines, I think, but once you cross the Bay and are into San Francisco proper, the BART and METRO stations all converge, so all we need to do is make sure you each take a train that gets you in roughly the same time, and pick a station (either Embarcadero or Civic Center is probably easiest for just swinging by on the fly). Then just look for each other, and for the white Infiniti J30. Beth knows my car.

Deena and Laura, has Katie B emailed you? She wanted to pick you both up at the airport and bring you into town.

Lee called them and let them know, gave them my name, told them Thursday, and e-mailed me the confirmation number. So I'm assuming everything is copacetic.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yes to the first, no to the second. Beth! Let's exchange phone numbers!

Jess, email her. I have one of Matt's cell numbers, but since he's going to be at a conference near New Zealand for the F2F (damn it), That won't do much good.

Herding cats for fun

I've e-mailed Deena and Laura about the slight change in pickup plans at SFO this Friday. I think this bit is good to go.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

All my, "I DO believe in Nilly! I DO believe in Nilly! I DO believe in Nilly"-ing has not gone for naught. Thank you!

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Why does that seem porny?

Yes, the glorious Katie-Bee has informed me of the change, and is planning, I believe, to whisk Laura and me straight to your house after she picks us up. Though I could be confused about that part. I still haven't heard from Java cat about the beach house thing.

Deb, do you know how many people will be at the BBQ?
