Harrow: You didn't have to wound that man. Mal: Yeah, I know, it was just funny.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Friday would be a no - Nilly can't drive or be driven. I suspect Saturday evening will be a nice long slow relaxation deal out on the terrace, with conversation; I'm going to Abbey Rents and getting a couple of those backyard torch heaters, and also some wood for the chimnea.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

However, just in case folks find themselves lively and eager to work off some of their post-barbecue bulk in a properly San Franciscan swankalicious fashion (or even just swankily slounge by a bar), I must note that Lavay Smith is a ton of fun, and also that I have several vintage gowns that are much too small for me but might be perfect for Nilly.

Heh. Yep, JZ, that's what I was aiming for: anyone who gets bored or chilly or gets a post-food second wind, there's cool stuff to do Saturday night in town, and the Fillmore - is it at the Fillmore? - is part of the cool stuff.

The Fillmore is Aimee Mann; Lavay Smith is at Cafe Du Nord: intimate crowded speakeasy vibe rather than Big Music Palace.

Oh, the du Nord is majorly cool. Yes, indeed.

I'm staying home (obviously, what with clean-up and prep-tired and stuff) but will be ahppy to provide transport.

Any assistance needed? Add me to the list of peeps willing to help. Only plans for Saturday evening include alcohol guzzling sipping with Lee and Deena at the hotel bar.

I'm hoping to be able to coordinate two bits of timing: beth b and Kristin. beth really wants to meet Kristin, but unless we can do it Sunday, the timing may be off, since beth is working Saturday and can't make the BBQ, and Kristin and Cass aren't getting in until Saturday morning.
