CaBil and Ms. Havisham are localistas too - do we know if they're planning to be around? I haven't seen Ms. H on the board in forever, but Bil pops up every now and again (and maybe more in the threads I'm not in).
F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!
I'm coming! I just haven't been keeping up well. I do plan to get a room - the thought of schlepping back and forth is just too much.

We're planning on attending, though it does not look like we will be getting a hotel room. Ms. H has no time, so she only infrequently peaks in here, whereas I usually at least view the top threads daily.
As an idea, we have a big, huge backyard and live just a ten minute walk from the end of the Green Line, plus have plenty of parking.
Is anyone planning any outdoor stuff during F2F? Did Lisah mention that?

I think that Anne W (?) was planning a barbecue on Thursday.
Are there any swimmable beaches in D.C.?
Hell, Matt, you can't even drink the water (really).
The closest I can think of are the Delaware beaches (Rehoboth, Bethany, Dewey, etc), about 4 hours away by car.
Being serious, there are the Delaware beaches and, I think, some on the Maryland coast and the Eastern Shore (eastern coast of Maryland along the Chesapeake Bay), but nothing within an hour or so of driving.
Is there swimming on the Eastern shore? I know there's boating, but I can't think of any beaches.
I vote for a group swim in the reflecting pool after the trip to the top of the Washington Monument. Who's with me??
