Deb, I just reread your post about what needs to be brought, and I would be happy to pitch in some soda and water. I also have a bottle of Dalwhinnie that I am hoping I can convince Consuela, beth and others to partake of.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Lee, 'suela's by no means a certainty - she has the wedding of a close friend in Portland that weekend. If she does come, she'll bring pie.

But I'm betting you'll be able to persuade all sorts of people to help you partake...

Oh! and so far, only SailAweigh has emailed me about the pedicure on Friday morning. If anyone else at all wants to come, please please please email me? Too many lists to maintain in my head otherwise.

The cost is about $26 with tip, and if anyone wants to come and is short on cash, this will be my treat. Only, email?

Deb - I will be in the City Friday morning, over at UCSF. I'm supposed to be done there 11-12ish and would love to find y'all. Any clue where the Buffista may be gathered around that time? I have your cell numbers, so I can call and deal spur if the moment if needed.

I'm getting the pig!

I strongly suspect that I'll be sleeping in Friday morning (giving myself permission to drink as many cherry vodka sours as I can afford on Thursday night), so I have a pedicure appointment scheduled the day before I arrive in SF. Otherwise, I would surely join the pedicure outing.

I also have a bottle of Dalwhinnie that I am hoping I can convince Consuela, beth and others to partake of.

I'd like to try it!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Deb, I'll email you in a second, but I did want to say, in case more people email you, that there are nail salons at both 8th and 10th Aves. and Irving that (IIRC) have multiple chairs. If there are more than 5 of us, one of those might be good -- also, very very near to UC and easy for Lexine to hook up with us from there (also also, there's a Noah's on Irving between 8th and 9th, so kosher treats right at hand).

I'm actually thinking noonish will find us getting spa stuff done, so we should be not too far away. Depending on how many people want to come (my usual place has several regular stations and five spa chairs), we would likely be at the spa on Sacramento , in Laurel Village.

But these people are tempting me beyond all reason...

edit: Jacqueline, so far in email I have two confirmed - Tep and SailAweigh - plus myself and Nilly. My thinking was, depending on how everyone felt about it, I can drop people off downtown to go shoe shopping at Union Square, then head out to the airport to get Deena.

Can you get me names of those nail salons, and how many chairs? Because we can't do walk-ins, not with this many people. And are you having your toes done, madame?

Great Deb - I'll call your cell, or Steph's when I am done at UCSF. Not sure how long I will be able to visit, but I want to at least buzz through, meet, hug, smooch, toss glitter, and then disappear before my self-consciousness kicks in.
