Deb, I'll email you in a second, but I did want to say, in case more people email you, that there are nail salons at both 8th and 10th Aves. and Irving that (IIRC) have multiple chairs. If there are more than 5 of us, one of those might be good -- also, very very near to UC and easy for Lexine to hook up with us from there (also also, there's a Noah's on Irving between 8th and 9th, so kosher treats right at hand).

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!
I'm actually thinking noonish will find us getting spa stuff done, so we should be not too far away. Depending on how many people want to come (my usual place has several regular stations and five spa chairs), we would likely be at the spa on Sacramento , in Laurel Village.
But these people are tempting me beyond all reason...
edit: Jacqueline, so far in email I have two confirmed - Tep and SailAweigh - plus myself and Nilly. My thinking was, depending on how everyone felt about it, I can drop people off downtown to go shoe shopping at Union Square, then head out to the airport to get Deena.
Can you get me names of those nail salons, and how many chairs? Because we can't do walk-ins, not with this many people. And are you having your toes done, madame?
I'd like to try it!

Great Deb - I'll call your cell, or Steph's when I am done at UCSF. Not sure how long I will be able to visit, but I want to at least buzz through, meet, hug, smooch, toss glitter, and then disappear before my self-consciousness kicks in.
then head out to the airport to get Deena.
Ooooh! Deb, can I please tag along for this?
Hey, Deb, regardless of where we go, maybe if we have a certain number of people, we could get a group rate. We could tell them we're a bridal party.
Tell them Nilly's the bride and the groom is named Malcom Reynolds.
(giggle)
Nicole, you bet, we'll just need to coordinate timing.
And I'm hoping my mama in law's offer to provide wheels and company for the wine country run on Sunday is still open. Nice thing there is, we get to park anywhere we want, since both cars have handicapped placards...

Should be simple enough. I can nag my visiting friend from Redding to drop me off wherever you need me to be before she heads back home.
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee! (and Laura, picking up Laura!) wheeeeeeeeee!
Also, JZ, I sent you a couple of e-mails and haven't heard back. Could be you're very busy (not at all surprising) or it could be my e-mail is being wonky and hasn't accepted the replies. If it's the second, could you ping me at fisher_deena AT yahoo DOT com?
