F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Dude, assuming I can make it at all, I plan to both drive and bring the boy. And he has a weapons chest in his trunk at all times. The appearance of fencing gear at the F2F would not be an issue.

I arrive in DC at 8:39PM on the 19th, and I leave at 6PM on the 25th.

Woo! Is your airport transport sorted? If not, drop me a line.

Is any airport more fine than the others?

I’d recommend National (Reagan, ptoo!) or BWI. National is close and easy for pickups, also Metro accessible, and BWI has a train to Union Station, which is two block from the hotel.

I am hereby volunteering to deal with the spreadsheet to figure out who is going where when. To wit, I need from everyone coming (including localistas). Please provide the info even if you are totally taken care of, then I don't have to worry about you :)

Here's the info I think would be helpful

Board Name
Real Name
Home phone number
Cell phone number or contact number at F2F
email address
Location during F2F (hotel, staying with localista, staying with other friend, etc.)
Method of transport (train, car, plane)
Place of arrival (National, Union Station, etc)
Time of arrival
Arrival details (i.e. flight number, train number)
How do you plan to get where you are going? (Metro, taxi, need pickup, etc.)
Who is getting you there (if known, if not, we'll take care of it, that's why we are doing the spreadsheet)
Departure details
How are you getting back
Who is getting you there

Somebody did one of these for the last F2F in LA. Did I forget anything?

email me at sajesq AT aOL dot com or my profile addy.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

While admiring the thread title I remembered that I have slept with Lee, DX, Plei, Alibelle, and Lori.

Let's see, I have slept with Laura, DX, Plei, Paul, Alibelle, ND, Java, Fay, Deb, Beth, Beth's DH, Juliana and SA. I feel like I am leaving some one out. And kind of slutty.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Brendon lived through the experience twice. Not sure if he is coming this time or not. Although he still can't fathom why anyone would participate in a board like this he still liked the people he met, a lot.

I am in love with him in a chaste adoring way.

He laughs bemusedly and makes beer runs. Best. Husband. Evah.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

CaBil and Ms. Havisham are localistas too - do we know if they're planning to be around? I haven't seen Ms. H on the board in forever, but Bil pops up every now and again (and maybe more in the threads I'm not in).

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'm coming! I just haven't been keeping up well. I do plan to get a room - the thought of schlepping back and forth is just too much.

We're planning on attending, though it does not look like we will be getting a hotel room. Ms. H has no time, so she only infrequently peaks in here, whereas I usually at least view the top threads daily.

As an idea, we have a big, huge backyard and live just a ten minute walk from the end of the Green Line, plus have plenty of parking.

Is anyone planning any outdoor stuff during F2F? Did Lisah mention that?

I think that Anne W (?) was planning a barbecue on Thursday.

Are there any swimmable beaches in D.C.?
