F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Home.

Sleep.

Car.

I'll be in my bunk.

if I'm remembering right, Beverly and bicyclops & DW are NCistas making the trip? My memory is weirdly sporadic, but I think that might be right.

The current plan is: Ginger, DW & I are driving up from Atlanta and picking up Beverly in NC. If more NCistas decide to go, there will need to be more vehicles. We could theoretically put the back bench seat in the van and carry 6 people, but that would leave very little room for luggage.

ETA: 5 people plus luggage might work if the passenger riding on the back bench didn't mind sitting next to a pile of luggage.

Also: Our plan - drive up Thursday, back Monday.

Q. Of those sticking around for Sunday night, would any of you be interested in dining in the Tabard's garden patio (here's a look at a sample dinner menu)and then heading upstairs for drinks, conversation, and whatnot?

Can I have the link to the original post to this?

Oh! I just found out that they have live jazz music in the lounge on Sunday nights - bassist Victor Dvoskin.

I may have to seize the cat.

Would someone be so kind as to Nilly for me key posts about F2F plans? As I said, the 600+ posts overwhelm me.

(I hope this is not too demanding to ask!)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It's a good thing I didn't order the micro-mini-kilt.

A good thing for whom?

I have gotten behind in this thread myself. Too much actual work, which is really a good thing, since that means more money for the F2F.

Doing a fast catchup: I'm up for dinner at the Tabard Inn. I like sushi. I haven't played pool in 20 years, but if there's a table for people who scratch and forget the rules, I'm in. I've tried darts. Other people need to stay at a safe distance from me, like in another room. I like every part of the Smithsonian, although I may have OD'd a bit on Air & Space. Surely everyone wants to go to the zoo with Billytea.

I am also not really sure if anyone really wants to meet me, but after a year and a half hanging around here, I want to meet y'all.

move out and draw fire

I'm in for the Tabard Inn also, and for scratching at pool.

I bought a gothy formal yesterday. My DH says, "That's adorable, but where are you going to wear it? Prom?" Great idea! It may be a little forced for prom though, we'll see. I can at least wear it to the theater here.

After meeting you, I can attest that everyone will want to meet you, Ginger.

Somebody make me get started working on my taxes.

Thanks! I've conceded and am filing a form 4868, the procrastinators' friend.
