Indeed, Beverly, even Katerina will be lured to the Nilly-Q by the composite attractive power of the gathered Buffistas. I'll meet you over at the sidelines, where we can huddle apprehensively together, maybe even whispering and snickering, until Deb brings us treats. Bwah hah hah! Fear my passive aggressive power!
F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!
Oy.
So, for my flight home, I can either leave really early (8 am) and be travelling all day (layover in St Louis, getting home at 8 pm), or take a red-eye (leaving SF at 10 pm, getting back at 6:30 the next morning).
Votes? If I take the red-eye, will getting me to the airport screw with anyone's Sunday plans?
I can do it, no problem.
Jess, redeye is better. It means you can do the wine country with us, if we go that route, and we'll get you back to the airport with olive oil and wine, in plenty of time.
olive oil and wine
Sold! I'll sleep on the plane, then.
YES! (fist-pumping) We'll take you to Oliviers retail outlet, and you can sample from the huge copper kegs of different olive oils, and fill up whatever you like. I think it's $14 for a good sized bottle, and the bottle is gorgeous.
We can hit the two local outlet malls, and some wineries, and buy artisanal local cheese and fresh fruit and things.
Does anybody still have space for that weekend?
I won't be able to afford a hotel room and I won't be able to stay with the 'rents. I'll be driving up with Lee on Friday, and coming back Sunday, I think.
Sean, ping Lexine - I think she offered major space. Also, David and JZ still have a sofa.
Wootwootwootwoot!
I'll be driving up with Lee on Friday, and coming back Sunday, I think.
You are? Cool. I have Thursday off too, so we should talk about this.
If Aurelia makes it, she will need a place to stay on Thursday, unless I go up on Thursday, in which case she won't.
If she doesn't make it, I will have a spare bed at the hotel, for however long I am there.
We'll take you to Oliviers retail outlet
Heh -- there's actually a tiny one in Grand Central Station that I pass on my way home almost every day. But I'm guessing the flagship store's more impressive.
