Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh is this the stairway contingent? I tend to do that engage, withdraw, observe dance. It helps if I have a bolthole, like the stairway.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Teppy, you can always plan to meet me in the stairwell.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I have this amusing glimpse of a future in which everyone volunteers to hang out with Teppy, soundly defeating the purpose.

Stairwell, right. Not stairway. Duh. But yes, that.

Come on out, Tep. I just got my tickie. Flying in noonish on the 19th. Staying until Monday. Tomorrow, I will deal with lodgings. But at least I will be there. Ima ready to party!

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I respect Teppy's people fear. The respect, however, will stop me neither from nagging her mercilessly, nor beating her about the head with a party-stick if needed.

[Edit: OK, so not cereal. Hi, Jon! If it were "4EVA!!!!1! " I wouldn't have gotten my visa!]

Just got off the phone with the travel agent. It seems like the total cost will be something between 1500-1750$ (including the internal flight between SF and Boston). An El-Al flight to LA on the 12th of August (with a stop in Toronto) seems to be the best option right now, and a flight back from DC on the 2nd of September (with a stop in JFK).

Three weeks.

Why, yes, I still have a hard time believing that it's real, why do you ask?

And now to catching up and posting the world's gushiest meara.
