Uh, are we gonna fight, or is there just gonna be a monster sarcasm rally?

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Allyson, do you need my contact info for LA., or is just yours enough?

Deb, I am still planning on flying up that weekend if I can. I believe Aurelia is also going to try to be there, though that is up in the air still. I would be getting a hotel room.

Does anyone (other than Nilly and Aurelia) need a place to stay in LA?

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Woot! Lee, I wasn't sure you were going to make it. And Aurelia too?

Excellence.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I have room in the East Bay for any travelers who need a place to crash. Large house, one semi-social cat, hot tub...

Deb, if you start an e-list of folks for Bay Area events, count me in.

lexine, I'm going to put that together this week, when I have three seconds to concentrate. I'll keep everyone posted. I was just waiting for getting more of a confirmation on the tentative dates, and now we have it.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

t raises hand

We have a couch and an airbed. And we're beginning to win the Clutter Wars, so there is now actual rather than mostly-theoretical space for guestage.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is there a bay area Buffista mailing list? I know a number of locales already have buffistas.org mailing lists.

ita, there probably is, but I'm going to start one specifically for this. I hate the yahoo-style lists; keeping track of those groups is a drag.

This way, I can keep a hand on the organisation, and non-area people visiting just for Nilly can ping me and get added.

JZ! I've just bought two tri-fold futons, and therefore have an airbed or three. Do you need an extra?

It's not a yahoo style list, deb. It'd just be an e-mail address like SFistas@buffistas.org. A list to which people can opt in and out without having to notify anyone specifically.

But if you're maintaining a specific list for an event, manual is probably the way to go. As long as names don't get dropped in the recipient list.

Heh, thanks, Deb, but no. We have room for the one airbed that we already own but no more space than that, unless we do away with the coffee table or someone wants to sleep on the back porch.

hip deep in pie

My friend will be around in DC until the 4th of September, and for some reason flights to DC are cheap around that time (I figure these vague terror threats are proving good for something), so it looks like I'll get to DC in time to meet Nilly (and the DC-istas!) Woot.
