No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

For the record -- never had a muffaletta. They sound gross.

Same here. The olive salad is the least of my worries.

I'll have a stuffaletta. That's some schmancy word for pastrami on rye with swiss.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Maybe I should go suggest a food thread or a waste of time, words and purpose discussion thread.

What a cranky butt! Natter happens. This isn't a right hand thread.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

sure, it does, but over a hundred messages on a frivolous topic that has _nothing_ to do with the thread is over the top. Particularly since we have a natter thread.

It takes like two minutes to scroll past 150 messages. And there's nothing particularly over the top about 150 messages of discussion on anything around here. That's barely a blip.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

That's why God made sucking and scrolling.

Or was it ita?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Why is it so out of line to ask that natter be moved to Natter? 150 off-topic posts is a lot for a quasi-administrative thread.

Nobody asked during the actual conversation. Coming in and bitching us out after the fact seems out of line when this thread has always had natter in it. Conferring "quasi-administrative" status on this thread doesn't make it a Natter free zone. Nothing is happening so immediately that it needs urgent attention in here.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

It takes like two minutes to scroll past 150 messages.

Except for where in the middle of it all is an important message from Fred Pete confirming that he'll count votes. I almost missed it.

It was funny and all, but let's please let it drop now.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Plus, it was sort of like dumping a bucket of freezing cold water on those of us who thought the whole thing was funny fun.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

So when are we voting? Is that next week? I know ND is in Seattle, and the poll is being set up for, what, first and second choice?
