'Sleeper'

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I might be coming to LA to see Nilly, but can't really say for sure until we know the exact dates. (If someone could offer me floor or couch space, that would be great, but if not, then I think I might be able to stay with my cousins.)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Huh. Flights to New York are less than $200, and a bus would be $100 (and eighteen hours each way, woo!). Depending on when Nilly's on her East Coast Tour, I might could pull a weekend (27th-29th), which would be easier to take off than weekdays, since I'm already taking over a week off earlier in the month for a cruise with the family. I justify this since I'd get to meet a whole bunch of other Buffistas, and that period of August is when I literally have no place to live. I'm between leases.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Nilly, the offer is still open to stay here. Weeeeeeee!

Yes, Nilly is wee. She could sleep in the cupboard. But I imagine you have something more hospitable planned.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Kristin, Matt, Cass and anyone else who is thinking hotel in SF for Nilly!Weekend, I recommend the Carl Hotel. It's a few blocks from my house, even closer to Hec and Jz's, it's affordable (by SF standards, it's incredibly affordable), and it's charming.

When I staged my first big F2F here, in October 2000, Betsy, meara and Vortex all stayed there.

Thanks Deb! I just realized the one non-Buffista I know in the area is probably still living in the dorms at Berkeley, so affordable hotels are definitely looking good.

Literally two blocks from my front door (though admittedly one of the blocks is straight up a hill).

You're in San Francisco. It's a given.

PC, believe it or not? The immediate area around Chez Grabien -about four blocks west and north, about three blocks south - is flat.
