F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can I go as you?

Our wings are not tired

We might damage NOLA, that could be fun. Maybe if we got hotels on across from each other on Bourbon Street.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Can I go as you?

Allyson with the Long Hair?

I'm going as Miss Congeniality.

If they vote for Masquerade.

Our wings are not tired.

Skipped 676 messages. Stupid having to be responsible and work stuff.

I didn't do the poll because any date is as good as another for me. I booked this one only about a week before the party. I never know what the next month will hold for me much less a year in advance.

If it is NOLA I would probably drive. Back to work now so that mini-F2F adventures are possible.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

There's few in the way of BronzerBuffistas who'd have a conflict about which event they'd attend, I think.

I'd be among those really conflicted though, especially if the Bronzer one is a masquerade ball.

Wonder if I can find a giant bear head to buy between now and May...

I'm still getting over worlds colliding at WHAR.

Not javachik

DX, I put a line in the RFP to discuss the dates to include, or, what ND said.

In re sailing, to climb the ideas-for-the-future train for a minute, I have some knowledge of their bare boat charters, and they do crewed charters as well as bare boats. [link] FYI, as something to compare to Windjammer. Beneteaus are a really nicely designed cruising sailboat.

Hey. New board.

Ooh! I could actually go to next year's F2F!

Hi, thread. Haven't seen you in a while. Been doing well?

Is it going to be in New Orleans maybe? Is that what all this stuff is saying? Cuz New Orleans is cool, and we could all eat beignets.

Mmm. Beignets.

New Orleans is one of around 12 cities being discussed at the moment. We've been working on the dates for the last couple of weeks and I'll be posting those tomorrow evening.

On July 15th we'll narrow things down to 4 cities, then from there narrow it down again to our final choice.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Maybe jumping the gun a bit here, but a little meta might help --

What are we looking for in a city? Upthread, people mentioned climate, easy to get to (for transportation options and cost), easy to get around (especially public transportation), possibly things to do.

What's most important?
